Aaahhh the holy trinity of two days of weekend waveboard wind with decent tide times. How often does that happen? Today however (Sat) a crappy direction plus a midday neap low posed a which beach dilemma. As always on neaps Shoreham would probably be a rippy onshore mess. Pagham on the push was the other obvious venue but a forecasted afternoon wind drop posed questions whether the one hour drive would result in a skunking.

So I decided to sail Pevensey for the first time on starboard tack. A reasonable decision. Was messy as but a decent angle with plenty of ramps and the RRD/4.5 combo was well powered throughout. Pretty crummy conditions to be honest but I made the most of them and had a half decent session.

Now time to find out from other reports of the day whether Shoreham or Paggers were any good.

edit1:
Shoreham was a rippy onshore mess and marginal too. :)

edit2:
Pagham was good in the morning 5m weather and nice waves then as predicted the wind dropped in the afternoon. Unlikely I would have arrived in time to score the best of it. :)
